5 bold predictions for Saints against Seahawks

The New Orleans Saints return fro the bye week to take on the Seattle Seahawks on the road.

The New Orleans Saints enjoyed their bye after they defeated the Washington Football Team by the score of 33-22 in Week 5. Even though they were on their break, the Saints got a huge win in the form of the Carolina Panthers losing to the Minnesota Vikings. With that, the Saints remain in second-place in the NFC South division with a 3-2 record.

New Orleans will look to gain ground on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and they have the chance to do so with a win on Monday night against the Seattle Seahawks. This will not be a typical game against the Seahawks, as quarterback Russell Wilson is sidelined due to a right middle finger injury. That means the Saints will see Geno Smith starting under center.

Here are five bold predictions for the Saints against the Seahawks in Week 7.

Alvin Kamara has huge day against bad Seattle run defense

Even when Russell Wilson was healthy this year, the Seahawks were in a tough spot due to the performance of their defense. From defending the pass or stopping the run, Seattle’s defense has been dreadful this season. That should come as great news for running back Alvin Kamara.

This season, the Seahawks surrendered an average of 140.8 rushing yards per game, which ranks as the third-highest in the league behind the Los Angeles Chargers (162.5) and Houston Texans (141.3).

Kamara is coming off a strong performance against Washington in Week 5.

Expect him to accumulate near 150 yards from scrimmage.
