It’s already December 2021 in Japan and most of Asia, so the Asia servers of Genshin Impact already hit the monthly reset, with new 4-star characters in the Starglitter exchange of the Paimon’s Bargains Shop.
First off, keep in mind you still have a few hours left to buy the November 4-star characters Bennett and Lisa if you’re playing on the Genshin Impact America or Europe servers. The monthly reset of the Paimon’s Bargain Shop hasn’t happened yet there.

Genshin Impact Paimon Bargain Shop December 2021 characters, weapons in Starglitter exchange
This month, the two 4 star characters on sale are Barbara and Kaeya. As always, I only suggest buying the characters if you regularly use them and wish to raise their Constellations. In particular, if you love the character, I’d say don’t worry about the meta and what tier lists said about the character. Just get them to strengthen your favorite. Nothing wrong with that.
As for weapons, this month the Royal Weapons are back. Personally, I think it’s best to never ever buy these. The CRIT Rate Special Ability is way less interesting than it sounds and I don’t really know any practical use for it.
Starglitter, Stardust Exchange shop monster materials
Moreover, don’t forget the Stardust exchange shop is getting reset as well. You should use your Stardust to buy the 5 new Intertwined Fates and Acquaint Fates. To get ready for the Itto and Gorou banner, or the Shenhe and Yun Jin banner.
Ever since the launch of Inazuma, the Paimon’s Bargains Exchange Shop also sells new materials dropped from Inazuma mobs. However, I definitely don’t recommend ever buying these. It’s a waste of Starglitter and Stardust. It’s best to farm these materials normally every day using the Adventurer’s Handbook.
Genshin Impact Version 2.3 Shadows Amisdt Snowstorms is out now, but new characters Arataki Itto and Gorou are only releasing later on December 14, 2021.
