Honouring the memories of late actor Rajiv Kapoor, filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker along with Bhushan Kumar hosted an exclusive screening of the veteran actor’s last film Toolsidas Junior in Mumbai.
Rajiv Kapoor passed away on February 9, last year due to a cardiac arrest. Marking a year of his unfortunate demise, the makers of Toolsidas Junior hosted a special screening for the Kapoor family. It was attended by Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Aadar Jain, Armaan Jain, Rima Jain and Kunal Kapoor. Sanjay Kapoor and his wife Maheep Kapoor also attended the screening, along with producers Ashutosh and Sunita Gowariker, Bhushan Kumar and director Mridul.
Toolsidas Junior marks Ashutosh Gowariker and Bhushan Kumar’s first joint production. The duo had previously collaborated for Swades, wherein T-Series had partnered for the music.
Toolsidas Junior starring Rajiv Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt, is an inspiring human sports drama produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar under the banner of T-Series with Ashutosh Gowariker & Sunita Gowariker’s Ashutosh Gowariker Productions (AGPPL), and is written and directed by Mridul.
