Joe Buck was a guest on the Manningcast for Monday Night Football between the Patriots and Bills and the FOX broadcaster stole the show, vape pen and all.

Every NFL fan wants to see what happens on the next iteration of the Manningcast and such was the case on Monday Night Football between the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots. However, one of fans’ often least-favorite broadcasters, Joe Buck, happened to be the star of the show in Week 13.

Buck was much more devil may care than anyone is used to seeing and it was absolutely a delight for the television audience.

For one, he dropped a hilarious call of a handoff to “whoever the hell that is” that made Peyton and Eli Manning lose it.

“A shot up to the booth and now a handoff to whoever the hell that is”

And if that weren’t enough, he tried (on ESPN!) to sneak a puff from what appeared to be a vape pen.

Joe Buck on Manningcast for Patriots-Bills was the moment of the night

It was truly a masterclass effort from Joe Buck and NFL Twitter took time to appreciate it.

Peyton: “Joe when you have a blowout do you ever wish you had a guest you could interview?”

Buck: “Yeah last time I thought about it was when you played the Seahawks in the Super Bowl”

Joe Buck has a great personality and every time he gets to show it the viewer is better off. I love that his friendship with Spiegs allows that to happen on our show with some regularity. He’s the goods.

Joe Buck: “how could I hate TV timeouts? I’m sitting in my house in Cabo”

— David Gardner (@byDavidGardner) December 7, 2021

Joe Buck: “Peyton you got money on this game, why are you reacting like that?”

Peyton Manning: “I hate missed opportunities.” 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Joe Buck and the Mannings in this situation, on a casual format, is fantastic

Joe Buck is ON FIIIIRE right now

I’d enjoy Joe Buck’s announcing a lot more if he regularly used phrases like ‘…a handoff to whoever the hell that is’

Suffice it to say, if we got a more uncut version of Joe Buck each week on FOX’s America’s Game of the Week, fans might be a little kinder to the broadcaster.

That’ll never happen, of course. But it’s a nice reminder on the Manningcast that Buck, in fact, has this type of personality in him.
