Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur has nightmares after watching two years worth of film on the Pittsburgh Steelers.

While Pittsburgh Steelers fans have been having nightmares over the way that the team has performed over the past two weeks, Green Bay Packers coach Matt LaFleur has been having nightmares about the Steelers, too. Except the kinds of nightmares that he’s been having will actually make Pittsburgh fans smile.

The Packers are hosting the Steelers in Week 4 and LaFleur has been watching tape on Pittsburgh’s defense to prepare for what’s to come.

Green Bay Packers: Matt LaFleur is haunted by the Pittsburgh Steelers’ defense

It turns out that Matt LaFleur might’ve watched too much film on the Steelers.

It’s true, Pittsburgh’s defense has been a terror to opposing offenses the past couple of years. Linebacker T.J. Watt is the highest paid defensive player in the NFL and his presence alone on the field is scary enough. It’s safe to say that Watt’s face is probably the first thing that LaFleur has seen whenever he’s closed his eyes to go to sleep this week.

The Steelers’ defense is the main reason that the team was able to start out last season with an 11-0 record. With Big Ben throwing as many touchdowns as interceptions and the offensive line forgetting how to block, LaFleur has nothing to worry about when it comes to Pittsburgh’s offense.

Who knows, maybe Matt’s nightmares are an indication of what’s to come. The Steelers did somehow beat the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium in Week 1. If Pittsburgh’s defense leads the team to victory at Lambeau Field, Aaron Rodgers may just decide to push for a trade to the black and gold after all.
