Saints’ Demario Davis trolls Skip Bayless after beating Tom Brady, Bucs

New Orleans Saints linebacker Demario Davis trolled FOX Sports’ Skip Bayless after he defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.

The New Orleans Saints have gotten the better of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the regular-season once Tom Brady joined the team. FOX Sports’ Skip Bayless was ever so confident that Buccaneers would emerge with the victory on Sunday.

Six days prior to the game, Bayless specifically took a verbal shot towards Saints linebacker Demario Davis after their win over the Seattle Seahawks, saying “we’ll see how much he’s talking after Brady visits Sunday.”

Well, Bayless ate his words, as the Saints defeated the Buccaneers 36-27 at Ceasar’s Superdome on Sunday afternoon. After the win, Davis decided to troll Bayless by replying to his previous tweet with a screenshot of Bayless’ most recent post reacting to Tampa Bay’s loss.

There is always a tweet from Bayless that can be used against him. Well, him tweeting out “NOOOO” served as the perfect response for Davis.

Brady did not have the greatest day in New Orleans, thanks in part to the defense. Yes, he did manage to throw for 375 yards and four touchdowns, but he committed three turnovers in the contest.

The first arrived on a fumble forced by defensive lineman Cameron Jordan in the second quarter, with the second coming on a pass intercepted by defensive back C.J. Gardner-Johnson on Tampa’s final drive of the first half. With the Buccaneers trailing 29-27 with a little over one minute remaining, Brady’s second interception of the game was returned for a touchdown by cornerback P.J. Williams.

Davis recorded five total tackles (three solo and one for loss) and one quarterback hit in the game.

With the victory, the Saints are now one game behind the Buccaneers for first-place in the NFC South. However, they will have to await the status of starting quarterback Jameis Winston, who was carted off the field with a left knee injury.

The Bucs and Saints will not meet again until Week 15.
