Everyone is aware of the close bond Shraddha Kapoor shared with her ‘aaji’ Lata Mangeshkar. Days after the veteran singer passed away, the actor shared a post that featured her memories with Lata. The post compiled several throwback pictures of Shraddha with the late singer.
On Tuesday Morning, Shraddha shared a tribute post and wrote, “I will forever cherish the honour of having shared precious moments with you. Your hand on my head, your warm gaze, your loving words of encouragement. Thank you for your simplicity, divinity, excellence and grace. Truly the greatest of all time! I love you Lata Aaji.”
Shraddha often posted pictures with Lata on her social media as the singer was very fond of the actor. Shraddha’s late grandfather Pandit Pandharinath Kolhapure was Lata’s cousin.
Shraddha was present during the last rites of Lata Mangeshkar. The actor was spotted with folded hands and was teary-eyed. Shraddha also rushed to the Breach Candy Hospital with her mother Shivangi Kohlapure when the singer’s health deteriorated. Lata singer was cremated with full state honours at Shivaji Park, Mumbai
