Travis Scott will refund all Astroworld tickets, cancels Vegas show

Travis Scott will issue full refunds to everyone who bought tickets to his deadly Astroworld concert – and has cancelled his appearance at a festival in Las Vegas this weekend, according to a report Monday.

Sources told Variety that the rapper is “too distraught to play” at the Day N Vegas Festival, which was scheduled for Saturday, after eight concertgoers died amid a crush at his 50,000-strong event in Houston on Friday.

The outlet reported that the 30-year-old rapper will provide full refunds for all the fans who bought tickets to the ill-fated show.

Like Astroworld, Day N Vegas is a general-admission festival where attendees are left to jockey for prime spots in the audience, the outlet said.

Scott had been scheduled to perform on the main stage from 10:45 to 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, following sets by Lil Baby and Doja Cat, according to Variety.

Rapper Roddy Ricch — who performed at Astroworld before Scott took the stage — has a main stage slot at Day N Vegas on Friday, the outlet said. He announced that he will donate his earnings from the Houston show to the victims’ families.

Variety said it received no immediate word yet from AEG, corporate parent of Day N Vegas promoter Goldenvoice about a replacement for Scott’s slot or a change in performance times.
