It was a pretty ugly hit. There’s only a handful of things worse in football than having to watch a player need to be carted off the field.

The hit itself is concerning, but it’s also concerning considering Bridgewater’s injury history. Given everything that’s known about head injuries, it’s also a generally concerning thing to see any NFL player take a devastating hit to the head.
You never want to see anyone get injured. Teddy Bridgewater has been through a lot in his career, I hope he’s okay. 🙏🏻

Per reports, Bridgewater was conscious while being carted off and had feeling in all of his extremeties. He was taken to a hospital out of precaution given the nature of head injuries.
It remains to be seen how Bridgewater will be impacted by this injury or what might happen with his career after the collision. Hopefully, everything is mild and he’s able to recover quickly.
