Two new flyback models have joined Panerai’s Chrono Complicazioni family. The new Luminor Chrono Flyback Ceramica and the Luminor Chrono Flyback Verde Militare represent the Italian manufacture’s boundary-pushing endeavours in the field of watchmaking.

Known for its diving watches and state-of-the-art materials and design, the Panerai Chrono Complicazioni collection takes a step further. Watches from this range are made from high-tech materials that are paired with sophisticated complications. Only a limited number of pieces are available for each of the watches from the collection.

The Luminor Chrono Flyback Ceramica

The first of two additions, the Luminor Chrono Flyback Ceramica is made entirely black. From the 44mm ceramic case to the bezel and dial, its inky-black hue makes it extremely sleek when worn. Not to mention, it is also scratch-resistant and has an automatic movement (P.9100) with a power reserve of three days. Accompanying the watch is an alligator strap in black with a matte finish. A second strap, in rubber, is also available and both complement the titanium trapezoidal pin buckle well.

The Luminor Chrono Flyback Verde Militare

The second addition to the collection, the Luminor Chrono Flyback Verde Militare comes in military green. Its case, bezel and crown protector are in polished steel. On its green dial, are luminous Arabic numerals and hour markers. It comes with a green alligator leather strap and a similar coloured rubber strap as well. The watch has the same automatic movement as the Luminor Chrono Flyback Ceramica.

To keep up with the advances in modern timekeeping, the two new watches are equipped with a complex flyback function that has been updated. Thanks to the flyback function, even when operating the chronograph hands will reset and restart with one press of the pusher at eight o’clock. This is unlike traditional chronographs. A nod to its nautical history can be found in the tachymeter scale on its dials.

The Luminor Chrono Flyback Ceramica is limited to only 500 pieces and can be bought at Panerai’s boutiques and independent retail partners.

The Luminor Chrono Flyback Verde Militare can only be bought through Panerai’s e-commerce store, only 110 pieces are available.
