Odell Beckham Jr. put the Rams ahead on Sunday Night Football with a touchdown catch but his celebration was what really stole the show.

After an inauspicious debut for the Los Angeles Rams, Odell Beckham Jr. has started to find his role in the offense with Matthew Stafford. He scored in the win last week and then, on Monday Night Football, found the end zone again against the rival Cardinals.

Trailing 3-0 early in the second quarter, Stafford completed a beautiful drive with a strike to Beckham in the end zone.

As you’d expect, the mercurial wideout was absolutely hyped to get the score.

However, it was his celebration that got everyone buzzing.

Beckham took inspiration for his celebration from the viral Detroit Urban Survival Training videos that have been going wild on social media.

In case you haven’t seen the videos, they have gone viral because of the questionable tactics that the teacher gives to disarm would-be attackers in various situations, such as this one (NSFW language warning).

That’s just beautiful celebration work from OBJ, who also gave everyone a treat in that regard with his first Rams score, getting revived after finding the end zone.

It’s always a good time for NFL fans to see the creativity of players when it comes to moments like this and, though the league’s taunting rules somewhat negate it, we should be thankful TD celebrations are back in the game after a hiatus.
