Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN) is interested in the 1/6 Committee study. Rep. Banks also send letters to government offices claiming to be members of the group.
Rep. Liz Cheney, a member of the 1/6 Committee, wrote a letter from the Banks to the department of the Interior in evidence as evidence:
On the House floor, Liz Cheney entered this into the record calling out Jim Banks for sending letters to government agencies claiming he is the ranking member of the 1/6 committee even though he is not on the committee. pic.twitter.com/C1OxGeVhXN

Rep. Banks was one of Kevin McCarthy’s nominees for the 1/6 committee that Speaker Pelosi voted for. because the Banks are one of the members of Congress who are being investigated for either knowingly or engaging in risks.
It is not difficult to understand why Banks slanders government agencies. Rep, Banks want to come out in front of any evidence against him that would be out there and ruin the 1/6 investigation.
While there is no House Act against the Banks’ actions, they have violated House Code of Conduct and should be monitored by the Ethics Committee.
The Ethics Committee’s investigation is no joke. It can lead to criticism or eviction.
Republicans are keen to suspend the 1/6 election because they do not want Americans to know that the Capitol invasion was probably an internal affair and that Trump’s coup was supported by Republicans in Congress.
Rep. Jim Banks misused his powers as a member of Congress to undermine the 1/6 poll.
His conduct is far from ideal. It has to be criminal.
