5 bold predictions for Cowboys against Vikings

Dallas is set to saunter into Minnesota on Sunday night with a 5-1 record and the highest-scoring offense in the NFL. The Vikings will like their chances to slow down Dak Prescott and company, but that’s going to be a tough task for Minnesota’s defense.

The Cowboys, in contrast, will expect to rack up more yards and points against Mike Zimmer’s pride and joy. Prescott is playing great football at the quarterback position and the running back duo of Ezekiel Elliott and Toby Pollard is giving the offense great balance on the ground.

The defense hasn’t been nearly as good, but Trevon Diggs’ penchant to force at least one interception during every game is helping keep his unit afloat. Read on for five bold predictions on how this high-profile matchup is set to unfold.

5 bold predictions for Cowboys-Vikings

5. Jabril Cox will pressure Kirk Cousins at least three times

Cox knocked Giants’ quarterback Daniel Jones silly earlier this season and it’s only going to embolden him to chase Cousins with real fervor this weekend. Look for the Cowboys’ defensive staff to give the former LSU standout plenty of chances to blitz from his inside linebacker spot.

The rookie may not get Cousins to the ground on Sunday night but he’s going to be a factor in forcing him off his spot on obvious passing downs. Mark him down for at least three pressures with a good chance of registering at least one sack.
