On Thursday, Ajay Devgn unveiled his first look from the movie Gangubai Kathiawadi. The makers have scheduled the grand trailer launch of the movie on Friday. The actor looks elegant in the suited look. Sharing his look and introducing his character to the people, Ajay wrote, “Apni pehchaan se chaar chand lagane, aa rahe hai hum!” He can be seen dressed in a white shirt and cream trousers, paired with a grey blazer. He complimented his look with a Nehru cap and shades.
Ranveer Singh was blown by Ajay’s look and he commented, “Power.” Ajay started working for Gangubai Kathiawadi in February last year. Confirming the news on social media, the production team had written, “We are happy to have @ajaydevgn join the team of #GangubaiKathiawadi.”
Ajay Devgn joins hands with Bhansali after two decades. Earlier the two worked together in the 1999 film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam in which Ajay was paired opposite Aishwarya Rai.
Gangubai Kathiawadi is based on the book Mafia Queens Of Mumbai, authored by S Hussain Zaidi. The movie stars Alia Bhatt in the lead role, who will be seen portraying the role of a brothel owner, who later turned into a political figure and ruled Kamathipura. The movie also stars Vijay Raaz, Indira Tiwari, and Seema Pahwa.
