Best NFL players to wear every number 0-99

Several players have worn just about every number from 0-99 throughout NFL history. Today, we name the best player for each number.

While many may say “it’s just a number,” these players are synonymous with the digits they dawned on their jerseys throughout their career. Here is the best player to wear every number in NFL history.

Who are the best players for every jersey number?

00: Jim Otto

Is there a cooler jersey in NFL history than Jim Otto. He came into the league in 1960 wearing No. 50, but switched to the iconic “00” in 1961. Otto was a Pro Bowl selection every year from 1960-72, and was a 10-time All-Pro in that span. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1980.

1. Warren Moon

It is absolutely absurd that Warren Moon went undrafted and had to take the CFL by storm before getting his shot in the NFL. When he finally made his way back over the border, though, he made the most of it. Moon was a nine-time Pro Bowler and won the 1990 Offensive Player of the Year. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006.

2. Matt Ryan

The Falcons signal-caller may get overshadowed in Atlanta because of a certain No. 7, but Ryan is easily the best quarterback in Falcons history. He may not have the razzle-dazzle of Michael Vick, but he was named league MVP in 2016 and holds every passing record of note in Atlanta.

3. Bronko Nagurski

Nagurski was one of the first great players in NFL history. He was a four-time All-Pro in his 14 year career with the Bears. He helped Chicago win three NFL championships, and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1963.
