Denver Broncos fans were fed up after the team could not do anything in the first half of Thursday’s game against the injury-riddled Cleveland Browns.

The Denver Broncos were on a three-game skid entering Thursday night, but had a favorable matchup against the injury-riddled Cleveland Browns. There was no Baker Mayfield, Nick Chubb or Kareem Hunt active for the Week 7 matchup, so this was a perfect opportunity to pull off an upset win.

Instead, the Broncos virtually no-showed in the first half, as they trailed 10-0 when the team departed to the visiting locker rooms of FirstEnergy Stadium. To say that Broncos fans were fed up with the team’s performance, is a bit of an understatement, if you ask us.

the broncos are a case study in why you shouldn’t build around defense

Me when the NFL schedule released: HOW does Denver only have ONE prime time game?!

Me at week 7: oh okay, yeah I see why. you right, you right.

Broncos won’t score until they’re down by at least 17. Only way they work

One thing is clear. We are ROTTEN. Our roster is so much better than the product we are putting on the field and it’s sad to witness. Vic Fangio is done in Broncos Country for sure lol. Ain’t nobody want him

K I’m done watching the Teddy Two Gloves experiment. I was promised a solid, consistent QB. Drew couldn’t do any worse. After mini Bye week start Drew for rest of year to see if he can do anything…. also fire Vic please #weareajoke #Broncos

Broncos pull a no-show in first-half against Browns

Even with the aforementioned offensive players on offense, Cleveland was able to put up 214 total yards through 30 minutes of playing time. That is a testament to the play of quarterback Case Keenum and D’Ernest Johnson, who both stepped up when called upon by head coach Kevin Stefanski.

As for Denver, they were only able to muster 76 yards of offense and had possession of the ball for a little under nine minutes. 31 of those yards came on one catch by wide receiver Courtland Sutton.

To make matters worse for them, star linebacker Von Miller suffered an ankle injury in the first half and left the game. The team ruled Miller out for the remainder of the game late in the third quarter.

After a 3-0 start, the Broncos have fallen back down to Earth. If there was a time to panic for the fanbase, the time is now, considering they could not do anything in the first half against the Browns.
