Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook ran all over the Pittsburgh Steelers defense on Thursday night.

The Minnesota Vikings were without star running back Dalvin Cook during their Week 13 game against the Detroit Lions due to a shoulder injury suffered the week prior. After being designated as a game-time decision for Thursday night’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cook was activated. Once that happened, it spelled disaster for the Steelers.

Cook ran all over Pittsburgh’s defense in the first half. He first ran for a 29-yard touchdown to extend Minnesota’s lead to 16-0 and reached the end zone once again on their next drive, giving them a 23-0 lead ahead of halftime.

What is even crazier about this is that Cook is wearing a shoulder harness in this game. While wearing it, Cookk is bouncing off of defenders to gain positive yardage!

In the first half, Cook ran for an impressive 153 yards and two touchdowns on just 14 carries! Additionally, the Vikings ran for 176 yards on 18 carries, which is the most rushing yards accumulated in the first half by a team this season.

Sure, Vikings fans are loving what they are seeing from Cook in the first half, but they probably are not as excited as fantasy football players who started the Vikings running back this week.
