Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is paying Myles Garrett the ultimate respect ahead of Saturday’s showdown.

This weekend, fans across the country are fired up for a Christmas Day showdown between the Green Bay Packers and Cleveland Browns. Aaron Rodgers throwing the ball around on Dec. 25? You better believe it.

Well, Rodgers knows things aren’t going to be made easy for him, as Myles Garrett will be ready to put major pressure on him from start to finish. With this, though, Rodgers has really given the former No. 1 overall pick quite the praise leading up to kickoff.

Aaron Rodgers knows how Brilliant Myles Garrett is on the field

Rodgers saying that Garrett has Hall of Fame potential really is something. It’s hard to argue with that, as the pass-rusher has been nothing short of fantastic from the moment he first started suiting up for the Browns.

Thus far this campaign, Garrett has posted 48 tackles and a mind-blowing 15 sacks. He of course was named a Pro Bowler earlier this week because of those insane numbers. He’s no question in the Defensive Player of the Year conversation here.

With Garrett playing so well, the Browns are still hoping to try and grab an AFC Wild Card spot. They’ve got a bit of an uphill climb, but you never know what might happen down the stretch this season.

Their chances of grabbing one of the Wild Cards will surely go up if they can find a way to take down the Packers on Saturday at Lambeau Field. That of course won’t be easy, as Rodgers is looking like he could take home MVP honors once again. Cleveland must get in his face early and often. That’s where Garrett figures to step in, and Rodgers knows what could be coming.
