David Letterman mocked Bill Belichick on the ManningCast for wiping his nose with his hand during Monday Night Football.

In case you were unaware, it was extremely cold and very windy during Monday night’s game between the New England Patriots and Buffalo Bills. We saw everything from Patriots center David Andrews wearing a sleeveless shirt and shorts in pregame warmups, to quarterback Mac Jones only throwing one pass in the first half. But the ManningCast caught something else during Monday Night Football.

Over on ESPN 2, cameras caught Patriots head coach Bill Belichick wiping his nose with his hands and then on his sweatshirt. That caught the attention of former late night television show host David Letterman, who was a guest of Peyton and Eli Manning.

What else needs to be said?

Belichick and the Patriots were looking to enter the bye week not just with a statement win and not just with the AFC East lead, but also with the best record in the entire conference.

New England got off to an early lead after running back Damien Harris took a carry 64-yards for the touchdown, and Brandon Bolden successfully scored on the two-point conversion. After the Bills got on the board with a 14-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Josh Allen to wide receiver Gabriel Davis. A 41-yard field goal by Nick Folk gave the Patriots the 11-7 lead entering halftime.

Belichick won’t be focused on the attention he got for wiping his nose with his hands, or the Letterman jokes, especially if the Patriots earn their ninth win of the season at the expense of the Bills.
