The troubling COVID news continues for the Kansas City Chiefs, as Tyreek Hill is the latest superstar to be added to the list.

There were more players expected to be added to the COVID list for the Kansas City Chiefs and that news has come in on Tuesday. Moments ago, NFL insider Adam Schefter reported that three more Chiefs have been added.

The new additions include superstar wideout Tyreek Hill. Now, just like the others on the list, it’s unknown if Hill will be able to clear protocols and be good to go for Sunday’s tilt going up against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

More COVID issues in KC, which is becoming this week’s hot spot.

Chiefs’ WR Tyreek Hill, CB Rashad Fenton and TE Blake Bell are being placed on Reserve/COVID, sources tell @adamteicher and me.

Other players likely coming but as one source said, “it’s a mess.”

Tyreek Hill being added to the COVID list is rough news for the Chiefs

In addition to Hill, cornerback Rashad Fenton and tight end Blake Bell were also placed on the COVID list. Earlier in the week, Kansas City saw Travis Kelce, Harrison Butker and Charvarius Ward get put on the COVID list too.

Clearly we’ve got an outbreak going for the AFC West powerhouse. It’s been a rough week for the Chiefs, but there’s still hope that some of the players on the list will be able to suit up for the Week 16 tilt. This news also comes after Patrick Mahomes revealed that he’s received his COVID booster.

Having said that, even more guys could end up making their way to the COVID list as well leading up to the showdown with Pittsburgh. This is most certainly a situation to monitor moving forward.
