With the Cowboys unsure who will get the start at left tackle this weekend, Dallas is no doubt thrilled that Von Miller is now suiting up for the LA Rams.

Injuries are starting to pile up for the Dallas Cowboys. First, Dak Prescott missed the Sunday Night Football showdown with a calf injury. Luckily, Cooper Rush was able to put on a show and help Dallas take down Minnesota.

With that said, left tackle Tyron Smith is dealing with an ankle injury and it’s not looking promising that he’ll be able to put the pads on to face the Broncos in Week 9. With the LT spot being up in the air for Sunday, it will only have Dallas be a bit more relieved that Von Miller is now on the Rams instead of getting ready to go to war against the Cowboys in the trenches.

Cowboys LT Tyron Smith “would be pressed to play this week” vs. Broncos, coach Mike McCarthy said. He declined to disclose who will practice most this week at LT between Ty Nsekhe, Terence Steele and La’el Collins. “We’d rather Denver find out when they find out.” https://t.co/4UHaeCBlYT

Dallas Cowboys lucked out with Von Miller trade

Head coach Mike McCarthy sure has a bit of a problem when it comes to who will protect Prescott’s blindside. Ty Nsekhe, Terence Steele and La’el Collins all figure to get reps this week, but McCarthy isn’t going to show his hand on who has the lead in getting the start vs. Denver.

Meanwhile for Miller, he’s now at his new home in Los Angeles, with the Rams defense finding a way to somehow get even stronger. The idea of adding Miller to that unit no question has caused a bit of a panic for several NFC teams.

The Rams are looking like serious Super Bowl threats these days. The same can be said for Dallas, as the NFC East side is set to cruise to a division title. They’ll hope to improve their season record to 7-1 this weekend.
