Packers, Aaron Rodgers showing they’re Super Bowl favorites

With Aaron Rodgers playing exceptionally well once again, the Green Bay Packers have what it takes to win the Super Bowl.

Remember when everyone thought the sky was falling after the Green Bay Packers were embarrassed by the New Orleans Saints in Week 1? That feels like five years ago, as Aaron Rodgers and Co. have really turned things around and they’re now 4-1 after a heart-stopping overtime win on the road against the Cincinnati Bengals.

This was an unreal clash, but the Packers were able to overcome three missed field goals from Mason Crosby to grab a 25-22 win. This is the kind of victory that shows the kind of stones a team has. And for the Packers, it should have their fanbase pumped about the potential to grab a ring later this season.

Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams continue to be the best duo in the game

While the defense has looked improved since Week 1, it’s the offense that leads the way for this squad. Rodgers is of course the leader of things, but goodness, is Davante Adams not clearly the best wideout in the game?

In the win over Cincinnati, Adams was unstoppable… seriously. On the day, the superstar speedster hauled in 11 catches for 206 yards and one touchdown. The Bengals defense had no answers for him. Even when they’d put multiple defensive backs on him, Adams would still make them look silly. Take a look at this 59-yard completion for example.

Meanwhile for Rodgers, he had another day to remember, throwing for 344 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. With Rodgers and Adams playing like this, can any defense stop them?

While the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Tom Brady might be the favorites to repeat as NFC champs and get back to the Super Bowl, Rodgers, Adams, Aaron Jones and countless others will be ready to prevent that from happening. Imagine if the two teams meet in the NFC Championship Game again? That’d really be something.

With this potentially being Rodgers’ last dance with the Packers, folks at Lambeau Field would love to see him end things in style. It’s Super Bowl or bust for Green Bay come this winter and they sure have what it takes to get the job done.
