The former Browns wide receiver, Odell Beckham Jr. is taking his talents to the west coast and the Los Angeles Rams.

According to Adam Schefter on Twitter, Odell Beckham Jr. has reportedly made the decision to sign with the Los Angeles Rams. This decision comes four days after OBJ was officially released by the Cleveland Browns, his home for the last few seasons.

It is worth noting that there appear to be conflicting reports that OBJ has not yet made up his mind, but the Los Angeles Rams have since tweeted the news as well. It’s probably safe to say, he’s a LA Ram now.

The Rams are signaling that it is Super Bowl or bust

The Rams have been working hard this season to build a team that can finally bring a Lombardi trophy to LA. In the offseason, they traded Jared Goff to Detroit for veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford, adding firepower to an already extremely talented offense. They then made a blockbuster trade at the trade deadline, bringing in Broncos veteran defensive lineman Von Miller.

Now with the signing of Odell Beckham Jr., the Rams continue to hedge the near future of the franchise in favor of winning a Super Bowl this season. After trading several draft picks for players and locking themselves into unsustainable contracts, there is no way that the current Los Angeles Rams will be able to stay together for more than a couple of seasons.

The Rams are 7-2 on the season, which would be a clear indicator of the strategy succeeding, but they still sit at second place in the NFC West, behind the 8-1 Arizona Cardinals.
