Russell Wilson may not be suiting up as the Seahawks quarterback but DK Metcalf is still making defenses look silly with monster touchdown catches.

It might be Geno Smith starting at quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks but the Saints are still searching for answers on Monday Night Football.

After a strong defensive stand by the Seahawks to open the game at home on Monday, Smith and the offense headlined by DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett took the field.

And it didn’t take them long to strike.

Before DK Metcalf even got open on the outside, the freaky-athletic wide receiver caught Smith’s eye and the quarterback let it loose. The wide receiver made the rest happen.

That was two defensive backs that Metcalf made look like they were Pop-Warner players on that touchdown grab, which went the distance from 84 yards out. He essentially left his primary coverage man on the ground and then pushed the would-be tackler to the side.

Metcalf is one of the true physical marvels of the league given his size and speed combination on the outside. And he put that all on display for this touchdown, much to the chagrin of the Saints defense, who had no shot of stopping the wideout once he got a head of steam built up on the outside.
